I am also Founder and Race Director, TOM – The Oberlin Mile. This is where it began.

This project, TOM, was initiated in August, 2013 and completed with its inaugural event on July 4, 2014.

A charitable, competitive, and also family and community-friendly, kid-friendly, everybody-friendly 1-mile running event to fight and win the battle over fitness and funding for public schools' physical education and athletic programs; primarily benefitting rural NW Kansas schools.

For this inaugural event beneficiaries also included schools in the Kansas City metro area, the Denver, Colorado metro area, Hendricks, MN and Capoke, NY.

Hi, and thanks for checking out MWAM. I am Michael Conner, the guy who thought up MWAM - Mile With A Mission, LLC, a charitable event organization presently in the formative process.
